Welcome - I’m Kelly Cahill.
At Monmouth Therapy and Wellness, I offer thoughtful, personalized care that is rooted in warmth, understanding, and trust. Whether you're navigating OCD, anxiety, life transitions, parenting struggles or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll create a path forward that feels steady, empowering, and true to you.
My Approach
My clinical approach is personalized to each client’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Treatment always remains flexible and responsive to the goals we create together.
Some Common Areas of Focus:
At Monmouth Therapy and Wellness, clients seek support for a range of emotional and life challenges. Therapy offers a safe, supportive space to gain clarity, build practical skills, and create meaningful change.
Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders-Obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors can feel overwhelming and intrusive. We’ll use evidence based strategies, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), to help you strengthen your ability to tolerate anxiety and uncertainty, break the cycle between obsessions and compulsions and experience greater freedom from OCD’s control.
Anxiety Disorders- Excessive worry, overthinking or panic can interfere with daily life. Together we develop strategies to manage stress and calm the nervous system.
Depressive Disorders- Low mood, lack of motivation or feeling “stuck” can feel isolating. Therapy helps you reconnect with a sense of energy, meaning and hope while building tools to navigate difficult seasons.
Life Transitions- Career shifts, relationship changes or other major life adjustments can feel destabilizing. Together we’ll create space to process change, strengthen coping, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Parenting Support- Managing parenting demands, stress and burnout can be challenging. We’ll focus on balance, boundaries and practical coping strategies to help you feel more grounded and supported.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey and hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Children and Families from Monmouth University.
With over a decade of experience across a range of clinical settings—including Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), community mental health, private practice, and school-based settings—I bring both strong clinical training and meaningful, real-world experience to the work we do together.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through complex and challenging seasons. I have completed specialized training in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), through the Center for Anxiety and Behavior Therapy and continue to deepen my expertise in evidence-based approaches that help clients create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
